Spring Bear Hunts
Our spring bear hunts start around mid April, and runs through mid May. There is a substantial black bear population in the canyon. We usually spot the bears from the boats, then pursue them on foot. Side hikes up some of the drainages are also productive. These bears are just out of hibernation, and their fur is long and thick. Hunter success is usually very good; up to 50 percent.
After a hard hunt, you may request a little time in the hot tub to relax a bit.
Comfortable lodge accommodations are included with everything furnished except the rifle and personal items.
