Our lodge is on the Salmon River in central Idaho's Frank Church River-Of-No-Return Wilderness, the largest wilderness area in the continental U.S. (2.5 million acres). We are 18 miles below the end of the road, accessible only by boat. This section of the Salmon is roadless, for 80 miles, through the second deepest canyon in the U.S. We have one of the few outfitter jetboat permits grandfathered in when this was designated a wild river in 1980.
